Latest Updates
Where the route crosses the Dewsbury road it wrongly follows the route of some overhead power lines. However, the is a footpath marked on the OS map that can be used....

I was walking Morlee One but came across a path blockage at White Rose, so I made this route option to bypass the blocked path.. This is a really good approach route to Leeds city centre from the South-West. Eventually the route comes to the edge of a high ridge with a great view, then a steep drop down a grassy bank to a footbridge across the M621....

A country path leads to a railway crossing (bridge). After the bridge there are a couple of houses, the route goes left along the road towards the railway tunnel, then just before the tunnel take the clear path on the right up the hill (3rd photo)....

Unfortunately there is a new fence which blocks the path by the White Rose Office Park (definitive footpath Morley 33 on Open Street Map). The route needs reworking to find an alternative way through this area....
