Most of the route is along footpaths or quiet residential streets through a leafy local authority housing estate. A pleasant route with no issues....

Shillington Park was lovely too, and there was a lovely footpath along side some houses (photo #5), and finishing on the south side of the tunnels underneath the railways (photo #6)....

Other than a short section along the Thames, which is very nice, the route mainly follows very busy main roads. It also goes through the centre of Vauxhall which is a very busy junction and you have to cross many roads. There are now alternative paths opening up around Nine Elms or you could cut through Vauxhall Park, however this means missing most of the Thames which is the nicest part....

A lovely walk through Battersea Park makes up most of this route before crossing the Albert Bridge (look out for the interesting sign attached about soldiers) and then a straight line up to Chelsea. Nice and easy to follow and plenty of stopping off points on the way...

It's a perfectly good route - takes in some greenery where possible, and otherwise follows perfectly safe and pleasant residential streets along the way. You won't catch me raving about it, but it's a perfectly acceptable Slow Ways route!...

I enjoyed this route, it makes the most of Battersea Park and crosses the river by the quirky pastel coloured Albert Bridge (break step!). Lots of dogs in the park too. Good Slow Way, easy to follow and step free....

I walked this route Oval to Battersea. The pavements getting around the Oval and on towards Vauxhall are relatively narrow, and the surface of some of them might be a little problematic with mobility issues, but there's lots of interesting architecture to be seen (and the secret community garden as you approach Vauxhall Junction, recommend stopping off there for a little bit of cool respite in over-grown garden shade). Vauxhall Junction itself is not exactly enjoyable - and you need to be on the left hand (North) side of Harelyford Road, by the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, for the tunnel to get onto the riverside....

I started on this route down to Wandsworth Road rail station and then there was a gentle climb and then along urban streets to Clapham Station. I crossed over the HIgh Street onto Ferndale road and down to Brixton. Accessible by public transport and a much nicer walk than the busy roads around Battersea....

A really nice short urban stroll down initially quiet residential streets onto a wide road with wide pavements. Then Chelsea Bridge is ahead and you are in Battersea Park for a nice stroll. There is a cafe and an ice cream fan and then down a busy dusty road to Queenstown Station....

After leaving the hustle and bustle of Brixton the routes takes you down a lovely residential street towards Clapham....

The route heads into the wonderful Battersea park and skims around its edge along beautifully kept footpaths. You’re then treated to a stroll across Chelsea bridge before a simple but functional jaunt towards Victoria station....

An interest in architecture might make this route a bit more attractive but even in quiet streets, parked cars accompany you as you pound the pavements. Apart from a small green space, Heathbrook Park, you are walking along the pavements of very busy roads. On a positive note, there is no shortage of coffee shops along the way....

A good park walk, largely through Battersea Park. There are lots of paths through the park & a cafe near the Batterse Park Station exit. I suggest starting a short way further back, at South Kensington Underground station, then walk down Onslow Square & Sydney Street to Kings Road....

This route starts along a main road, and apart from a short stretch across a small park the first third passes through mixed residential/ industrial areas which are not very attractive. After crossing the railway bridge, it becomes more pleasant, past large 3-4 storey Victorian terraced houses (stay on the residential road rather than taking the one closer to the railway line, which runs parallel). Towards Brixton the houses along the residential streets become plainer, but it remains easy walking on pavements all the way....

A surprisingly pleasant walk for urban street walking, apart from the busy main roads at the two ends. In between it follows quiet and tree-lined residential streets of mainly 2-storey Victorian terraced houses. The short dog-leg in the path shown just before the end of the route is easy to miss, but it only saves about 100m of walking along the road so does not really matter....
