Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

05 Sep 2021This is a good walk. You will encounter stiles, a very narrow gap, kissing gates, and steps. You will also cross fields that contain horses and cows. Part of the route passes through a golf course, should you wish to avoid this part you can follow the cycle trail at ///juniors.hiking.cuddled and re-joining the route at ///texted.prettiest.reinvest (there are steps leading to the trail). You will encounter the narrow gap soon (I had to breathe in). There are steps down to house’s drive (5 Lakeside Cottages), which might be difficult to find if you’re travelling from Standish.
There are steep steps on a railway crossing bridge at ///dawn.vest.drove. There is a temporary foot path at ///neck.vanish.verbs passing around a housing development that’s under construction. Careful at ///ferrets.frame.discussed as the footpath here is not the continuation of the route the route continues along St Wilfrids Rd (///wage.damp.autumn).
