19 Mar 2024Walked from King's Lynn to Downham Market. Only other people on the route where the occasional dog walker. There's a couple of pubs and church's along the way to visit.
A mostly flat route with a few road crossings. This walk that is exposed to the weather, there isn't any shelter from the elements like the wind or rain, as your walking along an embankment beside the river.
At the Downham Market end is a step over stile, limiting access to/from the walk.

27 Oct 2021This is an excellent very predominantly rural riverside route. It was firm ground when I walked it, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a mobility scooter. It is very direct for an off road type of route. Like all routes in the area it is flat! This is a journey to be taken often.

28 Jul 2021A fine walk along the Fen River Way. Very quiet after leaving Kings Lynn. Some interesting churches along the river which are worth visiting. Met few other walkers in mid summer.

09 Jun 2021This is a river side traffic free route (except from the Kings Lynn end and crossing a few roads).
It's an easy, country walk through meadows and passes the lovely ruined church at Wiggenhall St Peter.
